The Cowboy and Western Museum had a special exhibit of nationally known western artists. It was a very impressive exhibit. We were not able to take photos in that part of the museum.
The works below are part of the permanent collections and were awesome.

A special section of the museum was an typical western town. We were able to wander through the town and peek in the shops and offices.
The rodeo was a big part of the western life. There was another wing devoted to the rodeo and the Calvary.
Outside the museum grounds had many large granite sculptures
The next day was Bricktown.
Boat ride through the canals of Bricktown. |
Life size sculptures depicting the pioneers coming into the city. |
And at the end of the hot day, we all had ice cream |
Every day ended with some time at the pool.
