We are at Mountain Home, ID.
We took a drive on a scenic byway that followed the Snake River.

Bruneau State Park Sand Dunes are about 20 miles from here and are considered to be the highest sand dunes in the country. An interesting phenomena to us was that the base of the sand dunes was the Snake River.

We then drove north of town to what was the Oregon Trail.
