August 20: Drive to Smelt Sands and Cape Perpetua

Today we went for a drive south on the Pacific Coast Hwy planning to just see some of the seashore we have not been to before.  It was a beautiful sunny day with a slight wind.  The waves were awesome hitting the rocks with such power and invoking oohs and aahs from all who watched.  So I am just selecting a few of the 200+ photos I took.

At Smelt Sands we just found a rock to sit on and watched the majesty of the ocean.
