We left St. Louis 2 days ago and drove 60 miles to Cuba, MO. We decided to take a few days of just rest before we really started on our travels. We also spent time each day fixing little things in the motorhome and catching up on paying bills, going through paperwork and filing.
Yesterday jobs included washing the windows so we could see out while we travel and fixing one of the rear windows that would not close. It seemed like it was slipping out of its slot so I siliconed it back in. Hopefully that did the trick!
Our plans are to travel slowly. I know, what else is new! We leave this morning and drive 120 miles to Springfield, spend a night there, and then drive another 100 miles to Miami, OK. We stay at the Quapaw Casino so Barb can play poker at the near by Buffalo Park Casino. Quapaw does not have poker tables but it does have RV parking with electric/water hookups. We will probably stay in Miami for a day or two; timing depends on the cards.
