From Cuba, MO to Strafford, MO

Yesterday we traveled 120 miles.

Read the paper until 9:00 am or so. Barb did her regular 20 minute walk and I worked on computer for those 20 minutes.

By 10:00 am we were ready to leave the campsite (Meramac Valley RV Camp Resort). Drove to the front of the park and stopped to get propane.

Half hour later we were on the road. Drove 2 miles to next exit to get gas. Left gas station at 11:00 am.

Drove 1/2 hour and stopped at rest stop. Spent about 20 minutes there taking a walk.

On the road again, and we actually drove the remaining 90 miles with no stops. Arrived at campground in Staffard by 2:30 pm.

Wew! What a long day!

Rested awhile at the campsite. Drove 10 miles into Springfield to get best BarBQ in town. Returned back to motorhome. Had dinner and watched TV.

So that is what our driving days are like. Often we will do some siteseeing but there was nothing in this area that we wanted to go see.

Today we will leave for Miami, OK and spend 2 days there at the casino and then on to El Reno and 3-4 days there at that casino.

So love and hugs to all of you. No matter where you are in your adventures in life, know that we think of you often and value our friendship with you.

Barb and Linda
