Oct 6: A Celebration----Minus 31

Today we arrived in Coalinga , CA and will be staying for 2 nights.  I checked Trip Advisor and found a restuarant, small and cozy, in town for us to have a grand meal celebration.  After 8 months of monitoring my food intake and learning to eat healthy, we decided to go all out for a grand meal.

The Mountain Oyster Steak House and Saloon

received great reviews for their mountain oysters, their ribeye steaks and their twice baked potatoes.

We did not order the oysters but did get stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, ribeye steak, twice baked potatoes, garlic bread, zucchini cooked in bacon and fried bread pudding for dessert.

And , of course, we had to have wine.

It was a wonderful evening and a great celebration.

We now have NutriBears for each 10 pounds lost to join us on our travels.

Love and hugs,
Linda, Barb and Bailey
