Aug 1-3: Port Townsend, WA

We arrived in the Port Townsend area and found our campground at the Point Hudson Marina. We had the most wonderful spot right overlooking the bay.   It was spectacular !!  Co and Flo arrived about an hour after us and we set up sites right next to each other. Our days were spent touring Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Sequim, Discovery Bay. At the end of each day we met for happy hour and then dinner. 

We spent 4 nights there and had a difficult time leaving.

As we watched the tide come in each morning , the sand bar with all the birds would gradually disappear beneath the water.

We will leave from Port Angeles and board the ferry for Vancouver Island.
