We had dinner that night on a boat dock across the bay from downtown Victoria.
It was a good thing that we did not drink too much. The dock rocked each time a boat came in. We enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance of eating on a dock overlooking the city.
Some people make their home on the dock. Most were a bit funky.
And then we took the ferry back.
